altHoly Name's Website has just received a face-lift.  The website has been redesigned from the the ground up.  Built using the same software used by many professional websites, individual ministry leaders can post news, schedules or request help in just minutes.  After registering on the website, you can subscribe to an email newsletter; allowing you to receive parish news directly to your email inbox. You can also subscribe to an email Prayer Chain so you may request the prayers of your fellow parishioners and receive prayer requests.

An extensive contact page gives the phone and email contact information for ministry leaders at the click of a button.  Their pictures will allow us to recognize each other in the community and put a names to the faces.

Our website event calendar is now powered by Google Calendar for a comprehensive view of events in our busy faith community.  You can add events to your own personal Google Calendar, so you will never forget a meeting again.

Every member of this website will help it thrive.  We have a weblinks section ready to be filled with the great websites that YOU visit every day; everything from Catholic Blogs and News to Pope Benedict XVI's online presence at The Vatican's website.  We count on you to let us know where the best Catholic sites are.

Do you want to help build this new web ministry with me?  I hope to keep you current with our parish news and everyone can help.  If you have feedback about this site or would like to help provide content, please let me know.

March is dedicated to

St. Joseph

St Joseph
Behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; 21 she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."
Matthew 1:20b-21 RSV

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him close in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath.

St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls - Pray for me.
