The Feast of Corpus Christi(Latin - Body of Christ) honors the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Traditionally celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday in order to associate it with the Institution on the Eucharist on Holy Thursday.  The feast, now known as the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, is transferred to the following Sunday in the United States, Canada and Australia.  It was customary to have a Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction after Mass.
