Dear Parishioners, Recently, we have introduced a new and exciting way for you to support our parish offertory and second collections: Faith Direct. With Faith Direct, you can make regular automatic contributions to Holy Name of Jesus using your credit/debit card or bank account, the same process that you may use to pay utility bills or make car payments. Making your donations automatically means relief from the hassle of locating your offertory envelopes as you run out the door on Sunday morning, and guarantees that the church will receive your gifts even if you are unable to attend Mass. There is no fee to you, the parishioner, associated with use of the Faith Direct program. Automatic contributions greatly benefit Holy Name of Jesus by providing a predictable cash flow as well as decreasing the time and money the church expends dealing with the envelope system. Faith Direct will provide you with personalized offertory cards that you may place in the basket, and a year end tax statement. We find Faith Direct a “win-win” for both parishioners and our parish. 40 Days for Life - Spring 2010Join in a Peaceful Vigil of Prayer and Fasting outside Presidential Women's Center from Feb 17 to Mar 28 for the end of abortion. Our vigil is one of 167 praying for the end of abortion in communities throughout the world.
CRHP XX for MenApril 10-11, 2010 is the Men's Christ Renews His Parish Retreat. This weekend retreat is fulfilling for those men that seek a deeper relationship with our Lord through fellowship with his peers, bible reading and prayer. It a spiritual gift like no other. The retreat includes food, accommodations, great fun and most importantly a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God. The weekend is open to all men in the parish and costs nothing.
Men's Bible Study, Prayer & Discussion GroupA men's group on Tuesday's at 7pm in the Holy Family Room. Each week will begin with a discussion of next Sunday's Gospel.

Food Pantry Drivers WantedWe have a Wednesday 11 a.m. pick-up that we need to cover. We can always use extra drivers to pick up the slack when regular drivers are on vacation.
