THE ANNUAL WOMEN'S CRHP LUNCHEON was an AWESOME success thanks to the terrific job of CRHP XVI & CRHP XVII sisters---Laura, Darlene, Vicki, Dotty, Dorothy, Nancy, Maureen, Judith, Kerry, Jo,Yvette and the attendance of 65 of our CRHP Alumni. The food was fantastic and we lacked for nothing! Thank you ladies. We were graced with a beautiful cake compliments of Barbara Hamilton! Thank you, Barbara. We honored our Blessed Mother with a crowning of flowers, song and prayer. Another highlight of the luncheon was a very special visit from Sister Mary Darlene and Sister Mary Dorothea (a.k.a. Sister Dotty) whom Deacon Bob bestowed the names of Sister Perfecta and Sister Trifecta respectfully! They provided us with a lot of laughs and hosted several great games taking us on a stroll down memory lane reflecting on our Blessed Mother and the history of our wonderful parish. Boy, some of the ladies sure know their stuff! There were many door prizes, including a 50/50 drawing and a beautiful gift set of wine and crystal. Many thanks to the following local merchants who graciously contributed door prizes for the Women’s CRHP Luncheon last Saturday: Massage Envy – Royal Palm Beach, Duffy’s Sports Grill – Royal Palm Beach, Curves – Wellington, Cynthia’s Country Store – Wellington Mall, Pizzazz Hair Design – Wellington Mall, Walgreen’s, Olive Garden - Wellington. A special thank you to Fr. Gavin for the insight to bring this precious gift of CRHP to our parish. May GOD continue to bless you and the work you do for your flock. Also a special heart felt thank you to Deacon Bob for taking time away from his wife who just had surgery the day before to be with us. At the end of the luncheon, a great time was had by all. We are looking forward to seeing more of our CRHP alumni at the 2010 luncheon, September 26 which will be hosted by our CRHP XVII (17) sisters and assisted by CRHP XVIII (18) sisters. May GOD continue to bless our parish and CRHP.

February is dedicated to The Holy Family
Joseph got up, took the child and his mother by night, and departed to Egypt, and remained there until the death of Herod.
This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the
prophet, “Out of Egypt have I called my son.”
Matthew 2:13-15 RSV-SCE O most loving Jesus, Who by Thy surpassing virtues and the example
of Thy home life didst hallow the household in which Thou didst choose
to live while on earth, mercifully look down upon this family, whose
members, humbly prostrate before Thee, implore Thy protection. Remember
that we are Thine, bound and consecrated to Thee by a special devotion.
Protect us in Thy mercy, deliver us from danger, help us in our
necessities, and impart to us strength to persevere always in the
imitation of Thy Holy Family, so that, by serving Thee and loving Thee
faithfully during this mortal life, we may at length give Thee eternal
praise in heaven.
O Mary, dearest Mother, we implore thy assistance, knowing that thy divine Son will hearken to thy petition.
And do thou, most glorious patriarch, St. Joseph, help us with thy
powerful patronage, and place our petitions in Mary's hands, that she
may offer them to Jesus Christ. Amen. |
