To our family and friends who have been there for us all of the time
and through our recent move, we are so very grateful and thankful for
all your love, prayers, compassion and help. “Our family” is truly
blessed to be loved so much by all of you! Love,
The White Family Just a quick note to thank you so very much for the walkers and crutches. Holy Name of Jesus Church has come through once again to share items that some patients are unable to afford in today’s unsettled financial market. Your generosity and time are most appreciated. May Christ’s many blessings be with you always, Chris McDonald, PT, Wellington Hospital

My name is Susan Dichkewich and I am a parishioner at Holy Name. After years of being on a waiting list, I finally received my liver transplant. Words cannot express how thankful I am for your support, love, and generosity. My family and I can never repay what some very special people have done for my family and me. Thank you! What a miracle for me in getting my liver, but what a sad time for another family. I've seen our beloved Erin Fernandez, such a beautiful young spirit and daughter to Darlene and Ramon Fernandez, taken away in an accident in 2003 in my son's car. They were struck by a DUI driver. Erin donated her organs to others who needed it. I believe her parents gave new life to some other family by donating her organs. Heaven does not need organs, so I urge you to discuss with your loved ones their wishes regarding organ donation in the event of a tragedy. You never know what side of these situations you could be on. During these months of waiting in Jacksonville before and after the surgery, I have come to the point where I am not worried about my children or me because they are well loved because of you. As that well known saying goes (which Fr. Murtagh reminded us at the start of Stewardship), "It takes a village to raise a child." I am in recovery and doing well. Thank you very much again, and please continue to pray for my family and me. I can't wait to return. Happy Easter!! and remember, be not afraid - you are not alone. Love, Susan Dichkewich

This is a website that is FREE that parents can go to set up Parental Controls on their computer that will help them with limiting the access their children have to sites that they might not want them on or even when they want to limit the time they are on the computer. This is a valuable tool for your parents to help them with the control over the internet access their children have. The website is: www.k9webprotection.com. Let’s all work together to keep our children safe!

On behalf of the administration, staff, chaplaincy department and most especially the youth detainees at the Palm Beach Regional Juvenile Detention Center, we heartfully thank you for your kind and generous response to our appeal for St. Valentine’s Day cards andpostage. The incarcerated youth were excited as they filled out and mailed the cards including their message of love and on numerous occasions, asking for forgiveness to their loved ones. The loved ones of the youth detainees were ecstatic and surprised to receive a message of love on St. Valentine’s Day. Thanks to you!! May God bless you for your kindness to his misguided children.

February is dedicated to The Holy Family
Joseph got up, took the child and his mother by night, and departed to Egypt, and remained there until the death of Herod.
This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the
prophet, “Out of Egypt have I called my son.”
Matthew 2:13-15 RSV-SCE O most loving Jesus, Who by Thy surpassing virtues and the example
of Thy home life didst hallow the household in which Thou didst choose
to live while on earth, mercifully look down upon this family, whose
members, humbly prostrate before Thee, implore Thy protection. Remember
that we are Thine, bound and consecrated to Thee by a special devotion.
Protect us in Thy mercy, deliver us from danger, help us in our
necessities, and impart to us strength to persevere always in the
imitation of Thy Holy Family, so that, by serving Thee and loving Thee
faithfully during this mortal life, we may at length give Thee eternal
praise in heaven.
O Mary, dearest Mother, we implore thy assistance, knowing that thy divine Son will hearken to thy petition.
And do thou, most glorious patriarch, St. Joseph, help us with thy
powerful patronage, and place our petitions in Mary's hands, that she
may offer them to Jesus Christ. Amen. |
